Con los años, he aprendido a base de errores algunos trucos para viajar tan solo con el equipaje de mano aprovechando bien el espacio, evitando de este modo, llevar la mega maleta que tanto tiempo me ha acompañado. Y ¡lo que es mejor…!, evitando la incomodidad de tener que ir arrastrando la dichosa y enorme maleta de aeropuerto en aeropuerto.
Cuando nos vamos de viaje, a menudo se nos olvida lo importante que es viajar ligeros de equipaje. Ir con poco equipaje tiene enormes ventajas: la facilidad de poder movernos con poco volumen y la posibilidad de encontrar viajes económicos en aerolíneas lowcost.
Este aprendizaje, me ha servido para ahorrarme unos cuantos euros al no tener que facturar la maleta y ¡lo que más me gusta…! ¡he ganado tiempo!. No tengo que estar con tanto tiempo de antelación en el aeropuerto y soportar la odiosa espera antes de embarcar.
Lo más importante para evitar todo esto y aunque parezca una tontería, es que tengas una lista con las cosas imprescindibles que vayas a utilizar. Y en cuanto a la ropa, sólo incluye aquello que exclusivamente vayas a utilizar. Evitarás de este modo coger del armario ropa sin ningún orden ni criterio.
Para ayudarte en la elaboración de tu lista, te aconsejo que pienses en el tipo de viaje que vas a realizar. Para ello te propongo pensar solo en cuatro listas: maleta de invierno, maleta de verano, maleta de escapada (viaje corto) y maleta de viaje largo. Una vez elegida tu lista y elaborada, cuando estés haciendo la maleta, ve marcando con un “tick” todo lo que vayas metiendo.
En el punto de la elección de la ropa, te daré varios consejos muy útiles que te ayudarán a minimizar tu elección. Elige prendas que puedas usar tanto de día como de noche y que combinen fácilmente entre sí, es decir, parte de arriba lisas y con estampado, y partes de abajo lisas o viceversa, y solo unos dos o tres colores que conjunten. De esta manera, podrás lucir varios looks diferentes con las pocas prendas que lleves. Te propongo además, que pienses en la posibilidad de poder lavar tus mudas, camisetas y calcetines a mano y colgarlas en el baño para que se sequen. De este modo, tendrás más espacio dentro de tu maleta para otras prendas.
Y por último, si quieres sacarle el máximo espacio a tu maleta, te animo a que en lugar de meter la ropa doblada, pruebes a enrollarla. Descubrirás que apenas se arruga y que ocupa menos espacio en tu maleta.
